Laguna continues to be acknowledged for service, commitment

Laguna Real Estate has continued its outstanding record of being regarded among the best in the industry by being announced as finalists for the 2023 REIQ Awards for Excellence in a cross-section of categories.

The office, with agencies at Noosa Heads, Noosaville, Tewantin and Gympie, Laguna Real Estate has now been formally recognised by the REIQ and the REB Awards for its achievements on 52 occasions since 2002.

This year Laguna has been nominated as a finalist for Large Agency of the Year; Contribution to the Community; and Residential Salesperson of the Year – Melanie Butcher.

Laguna Real Estate is one of the longest established real estate agencies in Noosa with its first office opening in 1978.

Laguna now employs more than 29 staff members and has four offices located between Noosa and Gympie.

Specialising in all aspects of real estate, Laguna can easily refer business between sales, property management and holiday letting departments giving clients an immediate response to any of their real estate enquiries.

The REIQ Awards for Excellence rewards and promotes excellence in the management and operation of real estate agencies and recognises the contribution of individuals to the real estate profession across Queensland.

A selected panel of judges are appointed annually to carefully scrutinise each submission.

Some information submitted this year for Large Agency of the Year detailed Laguna’s significant achievements which covered an effective business plan, financial objectives, excellence in customer service, professional development, marketing initiatives, innovation, technology advancements and community contributions.

The Contribution to the Community submission requires proof of the agency’s contribution to the local community detailing the purpose and amount of cash and in-kind donations made. Laguna Real Estate supports numerous charities and events each year and has proudly raised over $1.2 million in the last 12 years for our community.

Melanie Butcher has once again been announced as a Finalist for Residential Salesperson of the Year which has been her fourth achievement in the REIQ Awards. To be considered, information is required detailing significant listing and selling achievements, sales clearance rates, examples of customer service and professional development.

Melanie Butcher is the licensee for the Laguna Noosaville office and has more than 20 years selling experience.

It is an honour for Melanie to be regularly acknowledged and awarded for her achievements.

This further cements her strong position as a leading real estate agent in the region.

The winners for the 2023 REIQ Awards for Excellence will be announced at the Gala Dinner held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Saturday the 28th of October.

A team of 10 Laguna staff members will be representing the company at this major event and look forward to hearing the winners being announced.
