It’s a nice home … a family home, a real family home in a good area.
David Berns of David Berns Real Estate says there is a lot to like about the four-bedroom, two-bathroom house with pool, dam and shed at 27 Foxtail Rise, Doonan.
The 9510sq m property goes to auction Saturday, September 10, at 1pm and David has been getting good numbers through at open homes to date..
“It’s got a lot going for it,’’ he said. “Living here is good.
“This is a nice, comfortable area to live in – close to everything but with a lovely rural aspect.
“You are handy to Doonan Cafe and to Noosaville. You can have the veggie garden and still be just 12 minutes to the beaches.
“This area is very relaxing … a nice place to go home to.’’
The modern home has touches of Queensland living about it with an entertainer kitchen and undercover decks, a beautiful pool and cabana in a very private setting.
Set back from the street, there is a curved concrete driveway to the house that features media room plus office, manicured gardens and dam, large shed, 5kw solar plus double garage.
The kitchen features an Ilve gas cooktop and electric oven, Delonghi dishwasher, rangehood and plenty of storage. A large air-lift widow acts a servery to the pool and deck.
The private main bedroom suite upstairs features a generous walk-in robe, study nook and ensuite with shower and spa.

LAKESIDE GET-AWAY
Boreen Point had great appeal during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, providing a handy getaway and laid-back lifestyle on the shores of Lake Cootharaba.
Now, as people take stock of their lives, that demand continues.
Roger Omdahl at Laguna Real Estate reports the sale of the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house on 916sq m at 17 Hector St, Boreen Point.
Listed at $875,000, the two-storey house was renovated by a builder and sold in the high $800,000s to Noosa buyers who saw the attraction of a lakeside lifestyle.
The house offered dual living and the buyers saw great value so made an early offer.
Roger now has a three-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage with office on 842 sq m at 37 Woongar St, Boreen Point, for sale at offers over $650,000.
Surrounded by private gardens and fruit trees, the main house offers two bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom.
The living and dining zone is warmed in winter by a pot belly heater.
A separate, approved cabin would be suitable as a third bedroom.
There is a workshop, plenty of tank water plus a bore – making it ideal as a weekend retreat, to live in or redevelop, Roger said.
“It’s a hardwood-framed cottage that has been home for a large family over many years.
“It would be a great weekender for yachties or an investment.
“The level, 842sq m rectangular block is in the higher area of town, not far from boat ramp.
“All four fences are substantial.
“The house is to the back of block.’’
Inquiry has been split between sailors looking for a weekender and investors with a view to land bank, and then rebuild.
Coming to the market is a three-bedroom house with study in Tewantin that has two bathrooms and two-car garaging.
On 738sq m, it is expected to be listed at $875,000.
STYLISH AND CENTRAL
Anne Powell of Laguna Real Estate has an attractive proposition – two one-bedroom, one-bathroom, one-car units in central Noosaville,.
Listed at offers over $600,000 each, 10 and 11/219 Weyba Rd are in the small Yallambie complex, opposite Weyba Creek waterways.
Situated to the rear of the complex, they have been renovated with timber flooring and air-conditioning, offering separate bedroom and balcony.
“They offer wonderful value for such a central location,’’ Anne said, “in what is a real up-and-coming part of Noosaville.
“They would be fabulous as Airbnb or a bolthole for the weekend.’’
Yallambie is a solid brick building set back from street and closer to Nannygai St.
Once Aldi supermarket was established the area just took off, Anne said.
It’s mainly Brisbane people who have been inspecting, but they would also provide a stepping stone for young people or downsizers from within Noosa.
“With Noosaville having grown up on the back of tourism the area has mainly two and three-bed apartments but few one-bed.
“Each of these has had a good make-over.’’
