A little out of the ordinary is a super chic house at Sunrise, that brings with it reminiscences of endless summers at the beach.

With hints of Palm Springs style and mid-century modernism, it has a lot of things going for it, according to Tiffany Wilson of Tom Offermann Real Estate.

Set for auction at 2pm on Saturday, June 4, the four-bedroom, three-bathroom house with pool and two-car garaging is in an exceptional location, close to the sand and surf of Sunrise Beach.

The style and floor plan options set it apart, with living spaces that connect smoothly between indoors and out.

Off the open-plan living/dining area with concrete-look flooring is a sun-drenched pool with Moroccan tiles in shades of bright blue, turquoise and white.

There is a climate-controlled wine cellar and multi-purpose office or perhaps a guest living area.

There are two main bedroom suites – one downstairs with two queen-size bedrooms and bathroom.

The upstairs bedroom suite has a gas-lift window opening to an undercover terrace. Hinterland views and sunsets can be admired from bed, the free-standing bathtub or the shower.

There has been a broad response, Tiffany said, in age groups as well as from different areas.

“Interstate and local, families, people upsizing, downsizing or improving their position – they are all considering it.’’

RIGHT ON COURSE

Midway along the first hole at Noosa Springs Golf Club is unit 828, one of The Fairways apartments at the Noosa Heads resort.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom, one-car golf apartment 828/100 Resort Dve, is scheduled for auction at 11am on Saturday, June 4.

Jill Goode at Tom Offermann Real Estate is getting a lot of interest in the property, especially from Brisbane and within the Noosa Springs resort as well as neighbouring residential areas.

“It’s a really lovely apartment,’’ Jill said. “It has so much air-flow and greenery.’’

All on one level, this apartment’s front balcony looks out to the green and bunkers, as well as a grouping of shade trees.

The two bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are nicely separated from each other and there is another sunny terrace at the opposite end.

A central kitchen is open to the living room at one end and the dining area at the other.

All furnishings are included and this unit can be holiday let by the Noosa Springs management, permanently let or kept just for personal use.

Ownership in The Fairways gives automatic use of the heated lap pool in the complex, and unlimited use of the well-equipped gymnasium and its many classes.

RIVERFRONT WITH OPTIONS

Set for auction tomorrow, Saturday, is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom riverfront apartment at 4/235 Gympie Tce, Noosaville.

Marketed by Melanie Butcher of Laguna Real Estate, it is in Riverside – a set of eight boutique apartments.

Scheduled for auction at 11am on Saturday, the top-floor apartment is considered a good entry-point to the Gympie Tce market.

“It’s a beauty,’’ Melanie said. “Perhaps the cheapest three-bedroom apartment on the riverfront.

“There has been a real cross-section of interest – local and Brisbane, but the main source has been locals downsizing.

“There are fantastic options – live in, holiday let or permanently rent out.’’

In the north-east corner of the complex, it enjoys great views across the river and up the western reach that gives those magnificent sunsets.

There is a very spacious balcony, and the the main living area is huge – with lots of glass and raked ceilings that make such a difference.

The kitchen is new, as is the flooring and window treatments.

There is ducted air-conditioning, and ceiling fans, one-car parking and private storage.

RIVERSIDE APPEAL

With direct access to Gympie Tce, a free-standing villa in a gated complex at 9/31 Elizabeth St, Noosaville, was snapped up in a couple of days from listing.

Laguna’s Melanie Butcher said the two-bedroom apartment had a third bedroom or study option.

On one level and right in the heart of the Gympie Tce precinct, it was for sale at offers over $1,275,000.

In gated complex with separate dining and easy flow from the living area to the courtyard, the apartment had a sunny north-facing terrace.

BEACHFRONT OPPORTUNITY

A one-bedroom, one-bathroom beachfront apartment 208 Netanya, 71 Hastings St, Noosa Heads, is due to go to auction at 1pm on Friday, June 3.

Frank Milat and Shane McCauley at Richardson & Wrench Noosa are marketing the mid-floor beachfront apartment that offers stunning ocean views.

Fully furnished and with ducted air-conditioning throughout, there is a north-facing terrace that enjoys the winter sun.

The recently-renovated Netanya complex includes new pool and on-site cafe, secure on-site shared parking with lift access, and strong holiday income.

SPACIOUS APARTMENT

An easy walk to Noosa River, a spacious three-bedroom, two-bathroom riverside penthouse at 9/279 Weyba Rd, Noosaville, provides a good house alternative.

There has been good inquiry throughout the campaign for the apartment, that goes to auction tomorrow, Saturday, at 11am.

“It has been a bit of everything, ’’’ Select Noosa’s Greg Smith said, “… local and interstate.

“This is a big apartment with two separate living areas, a remote lock-up garage, and land at the back of the complex for extra parking.

“It’s a pet-friendly complex and you can walk to everything from here.

“The property boasts quality throughout and would ideally suit owner-occupiers looking to downsize, professionals looking for a low-maintenance lifestyle, empty nesters who love travelling, those looking for a family weekender, or to have as a holiday investment close to the restaurants, shops and transport.’’

LAKESIDE LIVING

Roger Omdahl at Laguna Real Estate has an interesting listing at Boreen Point.

An updated two-level beach, boat or river house on 916sq m at 17 Hector St has been designed to offer flexible living arrangements for a large family or dual living.

For sale by offers over $925,000, the house offers five bedrooms, three bathrooms and two-car parking in a treed setting within walking distance of Lake Cootharaba.

Each level is self-contained – downstairs provides living, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom while upstairs offers open-plan dining/living and a galley kitchen.

The property is fully fenced, there is a 30,000L underground water tank and two large steel garden sheds.

“We are getting strong inquiries,’’ Roger said, “mostly from South East Queensland and Noosa but also from rest New South Wales and Victoria.

“There are yachties in the mix but many are being attracted by the dual living, the value and the location.

“The builder has done a great job on the renovations, with excellent finishes throughout.

“Mature trees and a park are at the rear of the block.’’
